Child of 6 fatally wounded in a special operation in Ingushetia

On November 9, in the course of a special operation in one of private households in the Sunzha District of Ingushetia, a six-year old child was occasionally injured. The boy died in the place of the incident from the inflicted wound.

The incident happened at about 7 a.m. in Chemulga village, Sunzha District. According to certain sources, power agents were trailing a member of illegal armed formations who allegedly had been hiding in the house of local resident Ramzan Amriev.

"So far, we lack precise information on the accident. The special operation was held by employees of the federal power agencies, while the members of the ROVD (District Militia) are not let to the venue. I can only state that a skirmish burst out in the Amrievs' house, in the course of which Rakhim, the house owner's son of six, was fatally wounded. The circumstances of the events are now investigated," a source from the law enforcement bodies of the Sunzha District said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Currently, the venue of the special operation is cordoned by the agents of the FSB Department for the Republic of Ingushetia. Entrance to and exit from the village are restricted.
