Ecologists: authorities have not started clearing the greater part of the coastal area of the Kerch Strait

The reports of the authorities that the emergency situation in the Kerch Strait has been eliminated have nothing to do with reality. According to activists of the public organization "For Saving Taman", as of November 25, the authorities closed access to the most polluted coastal sections of the Black and Azov Seas. While the accessible sections indicate that nobody has ever started to clean them.

The ecologists assert that the works have been launched only in the southern part of the Chushka Banner Bank, which is the most valuable ecological object. But how they work there - is a top secret. After the activists of the Ecological Watch had registered there "a criminal inaction in the cause of liquidating the consequences of the accident, the authorities has set up still tougher restrictions on access to this territory." Neither representatives of public ecological organizations nor journalists can now get there.

Currently, it is difficult for representatives of the public to get even to the headquarters for liquidation of the consequences of the accident, since it is located in the access-restricted zone.
