Board to assess the investigation of Beslan tragedy created in North Ossetia

On February 5, in North Ossetia, the public organization "Styr Nykhas" held a sitting with participation of the Committees "Voice of Beslan" and "Beslan Mothers", where a decision was passed to found the Board in charge of assessing of the investigation of the Beslan tragedy.

The victims themselves moved the initiative to create this sort of structure, and the Board of Elders of the "Styr Nykhas" supported them, and the membership of the Board was approved at the same sitting.

Stanislav Kesaev, Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of North Ossetia, was appointed to be the Chairman of the new structure, and its members are: five persons of the public organization "Styr Nykhas", Susanna Dudieva, head of the organization "Beslan Mothers", and Ella Kesaeva, co-chair of the "Voice of Beslan". In this membership, the Board will assess the course of the investigation of the terror act in Beslan.

The next sitting of the "Styr Nykhas" will take place in March. By this time, according to Ella Kesaeva, the Board will already present some results of the work.

On the same day, a statement was made that as soon as the materials of the case on recognition of the information texts of the organization to be extremist arrives in any judicial instance of North Ossetia, the "Styr Nykhas" will ask to close this case.
