ICPO: a MIA agent kidnapped and killed a local resident in Ingushetia
Mustafa Iliev, an employee of the MIA on the Republic of Ingushetia, will face justice for kidnapping and murdering a human. This was reported by the Investigatory Department (ID) for Ingushetia of the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of the Russian Federation.
"The criminal case opened in July 2008 under points "a", "c" and "d", part 2, Article 126 ("Kidnapping of a human accomplished by a group of persons by previous concert"), and part 1, Article 105 ("Murder") of the Russian Criminal Code, has been sent, together with the indictment approved by the Public Prosecutor, to the court for consideration on the merits," the press service of the ID for Ingushetia of the ICPO reported on June 2.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the kidnapping problem is still topical for Ingushetia. Thus, one of resonant crimes of this sort was committed on April 10, when four young men aged 20-25 years were kidnapped.
According to the ICPO, it was established in the course of investigation of Mustafa Iliev's case that on July 4, 2008, he was on duty at night at the "Kavkaz" Federal Check Point in the Chechen-Ingushetian border. Having taken his service sub-machine gun with him, Iliev secretly left his duty post and penetrated, together with unidentified accomplices, into a private house located in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, as reported by the "Interfax".
Keeping the owners of the house under firearms, the defendant took one of them out, put into a passenger car and took out of Berd-Yurt village, Sunzha District, where he knifed him dead, as reported by the RBC Agency with reference to the press service of the ID for Ingushetia of the ICPO.
