Volgograd Region: militiamen are accused of planting drugs on suspects

In the city of Volzhskiy, Volgograd Region, militia major, captain and lieutenant were detained on suspicion of trying to plant drugs and money on the woman-figurant of a criminal case.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that fabrication of criminal cases by planting drugs was mentioned by Militia Major Alexei Dymovskiy, who placed in the Internet his video appeal about malversations of militia bosses of Novorossisk.

According to preliminary data, in Volzhsk three militiamen back in August at detention of some earlier convicted woman tried to plant drugs and money on her aiming to initiate a criminal case against her, as the "Interfax" reports.

The Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported that the investigation had established the militiamen's guilt and initiated a criminal case on three articles.

Currently, these three militiamen are in detention, as reported by the "Infox.ru".
