North Ossetia: prosecutor's office reveals drugstores selling overpriced drugs

As a result of revising drugstores in Vladikavkaz, employees of the republic's prosecutor's office revealed facts of setting extra charges on 20 vital and major medicines in four city drugstores.

It became known to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that nine cases were opened under Article 14.6 of the Code on Administrative Offences. This article assumes responsibility for breaching the pricing regulations in the form of a fine from 4 up to 5 thousand roubles imposed on officials. If a legal entity will be found as infringer, the sum of the fine can make from 40 to 50 thousand roubles.

"By the results of undertaken actions, four drugstore managers were brought to administrative responsibility. The court has satisfies 5 petitions of the prosecutor's office aimed to enforce the offenders to drop the trade extra charges down to the prescribed level," said the spokesman from the press service of the prosecutor's office of North Ossetia.
