Two levels of unfinished house collapse in the capital of Adzharia

Four persons, including two children, suffered in Batumi, when two floors of the 14-storey building, which is in construction, cracked down at night on February 4.

Fragments of the building fell on the adjacent private two-storey house, where 15 families live. Most of the tenants managed to get out, but four persons suffered in the incident.

The victims were promptly hospitalized, where two of them were helped and let to go home, while two others are still there, the "Georgia Today" writes.

Doctors say that they are out of danger and in a stable condition.

The place of the incident was visited by the chairman of government of Adzharia Levan Varshalomidze. He promised to investigate the reasons and punish all those guilty, the "NEWS.am" reports.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported also that on January 8 a nine-storey building, also in construction, collapsed in Tbilisi. On January 10, rescuers removed the fourth casualty from under the fragments. The reasons are still unknown.
