Ahmed Zakaev detained in Poland
Ahmed Zakaev, Chechen separatists' emissary, announced for federal search by Russia has been detained by Polish police.
Adam Borovsky, one of the organizers of the Third World Congress of Chechen people, has formerly reported that Zakaev was going to come with his attorney to the district public prosecutor's office in Warsaw for evidence at 10.00 Moscow time next morning.
ITAR-TASS reports that Zakaev was detained today by Polish police on his way to public prosecutor's office.
The public prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation accuses Zakaev of organizing illegal paramilitary groups, armed revolt, involvement in terror in Dubrovka in Moscow and fomentation international discord. In January, 2010, the Russian Federal Security Service moved forward a new accusation against him, i.e. an attempt of forming "Armed Forces of Ichkeria". Zakaev himself rejects this accusation.
