In Stavropol Territory, a private who beat his comrade-in-arms sentenced to disciplinary battalion
A private of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was sentenced to eight months of imprisonment for beating his comrade soldier.
Today, at the 55th Prosecutor's Office of the North-Caucasian Military Command, the Pyatigorsk Garrison Military Court has found Ruslan Kochkarov, a native of Karachaevo-Circassia, guilty under Part 1, Article 335, of the CC of Russia ("Violation of statutory mutual relations between servicemen"). The investigation has established that in October 2005 private Kochkarov, while in the military unit deployed in the city of Kislovodsk, in a quarrel stabbed soldier Alexei Zagorulko, who was recruited from the Rostov Region, with his fist into the face. The convict will serve his punishment at a disciplinary military unit, as the RIA "Novosti" reports.
The Russian Army continues revealing new crimes based on non-manual relations. The start of the campaign was the tragedy with Andrei Sychov who was beaten and then had his legs and genitals amputated.
According to the official statistics of 2005, a total of 20,390 crimes related to non-manual relations between soldiers were registered. That is, 56 crimes of this sort were registered every day. Unfortunately, very often these crimes become known too late, as the NEWSru.com remarks.
