Blogger Milly released from custody in Azerbaijan

Early in the morning of November, 19, Salyan district court of Azerbaijan granted the petition of a young blogger Emin Milly for early release for he had served over a half of his penalty term.

Attorney Isakhan Ashurov told a reporter of "Caucasian Knot" that the court granted the blogger's petition only partially giving a judgment of his release on parole. Milly spent 17 months in custody and the court decided that he would serve the remaining 13 months of the term on parole. Milly was released in the courtroom.

It should be reminded that another blogger, Adan Gajizade, arrested together with Milly was released on parole on November, 18, too. He has already declared that he intended to strive for complete rehabilitation.
