Residents of Tsibari burned down in Dagestan lack warm clothing and tents
The local school, kindergarten and building of the pension fund became temporary residences for the fire victims of the Dagestan village of Tsibari. The issue of their accommodation is not settled yet.
Dzhavatkhan Valiev, a social teacher at the local school, who was authorized by Tsibari villagers to be a member of the commission to receive humanitarian aid, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that a truck has arrived with humanitarian aid from the Red Cross with food and kitchen utensils.
Mr Valiev denied the information that people were temporarily accommodated in nearby villages. A day earlier the problem of resettlement of fire victims was discussed at the government sitting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Rizvan Gazimagomedov.
According to the villagers' authorized representative, none of the victims left the village. Women live in the local school, and men in two tents - for 12 and 40 persons. Some residents huddle in 11 survived houses, in the kindergarten and the building of the pension fund division.
"Now people are in acute need of warm clothes and warm tents. It is growing colder, children are coughing. Winters are very cold in this mountainous area. But the solution to villagers' problems is protracted. People are dissatisfied and ready to protest," said Dzhavatkhan. According to his information, earlier they received basic necessities - mattresses, blankets and folding-beds.
Dzhabrail Anvarbegov, chairman of the assembly of deputies of the Municipal Formation (MF) "Tsuntin District" and a resident of Tsibari, reported on December 5 that 85 families, in total 310 persons, including 152 children, became homeless. According to his story, 35 families went to stay with relatives in neighbouring villages.
Magamedkamil Anvarbegov, deputy head of the division for civil defence, emergencies and fire safety, has confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that people had received one-time aid of 10,000 roubles per person, but not more than 25,000 per household; money was allotted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development of Dagestan.
A mobile field kitchen of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) was deployed; fire victims now live in the buildings of school and kindergarten heated with coal. And about 30 families live in the neighbouring villages of Mokok, Shauri and Kinlyarata," said Mr Anvarbegov.
According to his story, a commission from Moscow, which came to the place, made a conclusion: houses cannot be restored. The village is in a landslide area; thus, it will be rebuilt in a new location.
