The body of a militiamen who was shot down found in Dagestan
Local residents found a shot down militiaman's body in the forest of Kumtorkale district, near the settlement of Sernoe. On their own initiative they reported the accident to law enforcement bodies, a source in the republican Ministry of Interior Affairs informed.
After a detailed inspection the personality of the officer of the Department of Interior Affairs in Makhachcala was identified and a militia badge was found on him. The officer of the Department of Interior Affairs had been shot at from firearms several times.
"The crime was most probably committed yet two or three days ago", the source said, according to RIA "Dagestan".
At present the murdered militiaman's body has been taken to the capital of the republic. Six bullet wounds were found on the body which had caused the death of the officer of the Department of Interior Affairs, "Rosbalt" reports.
