Sochi holds job fair "Employment Service to Women"

About 20 enterprises and organizations of Sochi took part in the job fair "Employment Service to Women", where the highest demand for specialists was demonstrated by municipal health care and education institutions.

Kindergartens and schools need teachers and educators. Situation is the worst with the staff in preschool institutions - almost every kindergarten needs an educator or assistant educator. "The maximum salary is 8,000 roubles a month," said Alla Kozlova, head of kindergarten No. 33. "Young people wouldn't want to go to kindergarten."

Schools of Sochi also experience a shortage of educated teachers. The teacher's salary in Sochi schools makes 8-10,000 roubles per month depending on service record and work load.

Valentina Zhukova asks about salary in the last place. She had just graduated from college and came to the fair with her mother. "It is most important to find an interesting job," said the girl. "However, since I have no experience, no one is paying attention. Young newcomers have problems to get employed. And if you are under 21, it's virtually impossible."

Natalia Romankova, a native of Sochi, is seeking job for a whole year. She does not claim high wages: "At least 12,000 roubles a month. You won't survive for less," she said. Having worked for many years in trade, today she cannot find a suitable job: "Today, employers prefer non-residents, as they can pay them less."
