Six persons killed in three counterterrorist operations in Dagestan

As reported by the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), today in the course of three special operations in Dagestan law enforcement bodies liquidated six suspected militants.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today two persons, initially blocked in an apartment of a nine-storey block in the township named Reduktorny in Makhachkala, were shot dead. Later, in one of private houses of the village of Shaumyan, Kizlyar District, a group of militants was blocked. The area was under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime.

"As a result of three counterterrorist operations conducted in Dagestan during April 28, special units of the FSB, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Defence neutralized six members of illegal armed formations," the "Interfax" quotes its source from the Information Centre of the NAC.
