Chalatashvili: the damage caused by flood in Sagarejo district made over 363 thousand lari

The rivers of Sagarejo district of Georgia which outflowed the banks inflicted a damage of 600 thousand lari (over 366 US dollars), Head of Municipality Sagarejo Gia Chalatashvili declared. 

Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” reported that as a result of the flow of August, 21, in Kaheti district of Georgia hundreds of houses were submerged, roads and bridges were washed away and the population of some districts was evacuated because of the threat of collapse.

“Water supply system was destroyed in the settlements of Shibliani, Kandauri, Badiauri and Bogdanovka. Inner roads got much injury. We are waiting for allotment of funds from central budget”, “Georgia Online” quotes Chalatashvili.
