A policeman in Krasnodar region committed suicide
At night of September, 11, local policeman Evgeny Tereshenko committed suicide in the stanitsa of Leningradskaya, Krasnodar region, by shooting in his head from a Government-issue Makarov.
The thirty-five-years-old warrant officer had served in a of non-departmental guard of local police department. The man's body was found in the territory of the local medical storehouse after he took over duty the evening before. Investigation is currently establishing the motives for the suicide. Tereshenko's colleagues think that he had been upset lately about damage to his car but nobody believes that he shot himself down for this reason.
According to Ivan Sengerov, senior assistant of Head of the regional Investigative Department, the policeman was alone at his duty. Commander of the subdivision of non-departmental guard who was inspecting the guard posts at night found his dead body with a gunshot wound in the temporal region of his head.
It is established that the man made his last call from his mobile to his wife, "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reports.
The investigation states that "no signs of a crime were found during inspection on the scene of the accident". However, the Government-issue PM was found side by side with the victim's body but it was fastened to the holster by the staff cord", RIA "Novosti" reports.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported similar incidents in Krasnodar police. In particular, on August, 30, chief of a village police department shot himself down. A note of the officials' corruption was found in his car. The investigators initiated a criminal case on the fact of incitement of the officer to a suicide.
On August, 12, an investigator of police department No 5 of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Krasnodar was found dead in the police office. Supposedly, he shot himself down during his duty.
