Local resident released by power authorities in Chechnya after torture
In the evening of March 7, 2006, officers of the local power authorities captured and took to an undisclosed location Islam Esinbayev, born in 1979, resident of the village of Prigorodnoye, Grozny District, Chechnya.
It became known that Esinbayev, severely beaten and tortured, was left at the village outskirts late in the evening on March 13.
