Marina Litvinovich, chief editor of "Beslan's Truth" site and assistance of Kasparov, beaten
Marina Litvinovich, assistant of Garry Kasparov, leader of the United Civil Front, and chief editor of the "Beslan's Truth" site, beaten the day before, on March 20 in Moscow, related the details of the attack on her earlier.
"In the evening, I came out of our office in Makarenko Street (the office of the Inter-regional Public Movement United Civil Front – editor's note) and headed for my car. At this moment, someone struck me from behind and I lost consciousness," related Litvinovich to "Interfax."
According to her, she came to in some 30-40 minutes. She states that her two teeth are broken, her leg is seriously damaged – there is a large haematoma, and there are various wounds on her face.
"When I came to, there were some young fellows, they were calling my name and I asked how come they know my name but in the end it appeared that I had told them my name myself, although I did not remember this," – relates Litvinovich. She was taken to the Sklifasovskiy clinic where she was examined and given first aid.
"I am at home now and, so far, I have not applied to the law enforcement agencies," says Litvinovich.
Garry Kasparov's internet newspaper reports that Marina Litvinovich, chief editor of the "Beslan's Truth" site, does not know who attacked her. Nothing has been lost: the offenders did not steal her notebook computer, or her handbag or purse. A criminal case is going to be initiated immediately after she applies to militia.
