Witness of beating of M. Litvinovich, editor of "Beslan's Truth" site, available
Militia has managed to find an eye-witness of an attack on Marina Litvinovich, member of the UCF Federal Council, on the night of March 20. This is a resident of the house in Makarenko Street. The witness has not been interrogated by the investigating officers of Basman militia unit No 46 yet. The fact has been reported to the Kasparov.Ru correspondent by Litvinovich herself.
After interrogation of the witness, the attack version will probably become official, presumes the victim. Initially, militiamen put forward versions that Marina Litvinovich may have fallen down or got under a car.
At the moment, Marina Litvinovich is at home and feels well.
Litvinovich mentions her activity connected with the investigation of terrorist acts in Moscow and Beslan as the most probable cause of the attack. She notes that there are new and interesting facts which are sufficiently serious and important. However, she does not exclude other reasons for the attack.
For reference, yesterday, on March 20, unknown persons beat Marina Litvinovich, assistant of Garry Kasparov, leader of the United Civil Front, and chief editor of the "Beslan's Truth" site. "In the evening, I came out of our office in Makarenko Street and headed for my car. At this moment, someone struck me from behind and I lost conscience," relates Litvinovich to "Interfax."
According to her, she came to in some 30-40 minutes. She states that her two teeth are broken, her leg is seriously damaged – there is a large haematoma, and there are various wounds on her face. She was taken to Sklifosovskiy Institute, examined there and given first aid. Garry Kasparov's Internet-Gazette reports that Litvinovich has no idea who could have attacked her. Nothing has been stolen: the offenders did not steal her notebook computer, or her handbag or purse.
