Ruslan Evkurov begins repaying his debts to Dolakovo residents

Ruslan Evkurov, a distant relative of the Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Evkurov, accused of committing fraud against the residents of the village of Dolakovo, began to gradually repay his debts to his creditors. However, he emphasizes that at present he cannot fully repay the money to deceived villagers.

"I am trying to find a more or less decently paid job since last summer. However, I did not succeed, since to find a job in Ingushetia is almost impossible," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to investigators, Ruslan Evkurov collected from the Dolakovo residents 15,000 roubles and disappeared with money. The Dolakovo residents appealed to the law enforcement agencies. On November 18, at confrontation with witnesses, Ruslan Evkurov promised to return all the money.

According to Ruslan Evkurov, he was able to return the money to the residents of the village of Dolakovo, four brothers Dzaurov and sisters Malsagov, the residents of the village of Plievo.

According to Senior Lieutenant Alikhan Merzhoev, the investigator from the Ingushetian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Ruslan Evkurov gave the victims about 100,000 roubles.

"The investigation revealed that he took money not only from the Dolakovo residents. Residents of the villages of Ekazhevo, Plievo, Karabulak, and Kantyshevo were also affected by his activity. However, the highest number of deceived citizens lives in the villages of Dolakovo and Ekazhevo," the investigator said.

In his interview to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, the investigator emphasized that he had met Magomed Evkurov, the elder brother of the suspect man. The relative of Ruslan Evkurov assured Alikhan Merzhoev that the money would be refunded to all the affected persons.
