In Astrakhan, hunger-strikers publish on Internet videos of violations at election

In Astrakhan, participants of the political hunger strike did not receive from the Central Election Commission (CEC) videos from the webcams, which were operating at city electoral precincts on March 4, and began to publish their available videos on the Internet, since they fear that the records may disappear from the resource of the Ministry of Communications and the "Rostelecom".

"Since no official video from electoral precincts in Astrakhan is available, we decided to watch it at the website of government services. The first result is that, on ten electoral precincts out of eleven precincts, the website gives the answer: "No video materials are found on this electoral precinct," writes in his "Live Journal" Oleg Shein, the participant of the hunger strike, the leader of the Regional Branch of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) Party.

According to him, the website does not find even those electoral precincts, which had been already submitted to Vladimir Churov, CEC Chairman, to the working group of the CEC, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

In this regard, the participants of the hunger strike load 17 available videos from the elections to the Internet.

Without available video materials, Oleg Shein sees no sense to file a complaint to court to recognize the election invalid, since it would mean an absolute loss of the case, the "Rosbalt" reports. He also believes that state video materials are not available, since the CEC is under pressure.
