Teenager seriously wounded by policeman dies in Dagestan
The 16-year-old Imadibir Makhiev, a resident of the village of Karata, Akhvakh District of Dagestan, who was shot in his head on April 16 by a policeman of the local OVD, has died tonight in the intensive care unit of the Republic's Clinical Hospital in Makhachkala, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
The teenager's condition, after he was transferred from the district to the republic's hospital, remained extremely grave; he was in a deep coma. Imadibir Makhiev was the only son in the family; his mother died when he was three years old; and he was brought up by his father.
