According to the police, the centre "E" of the Chief Directorate of the Russian MIA in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) sent them a signal that a 19-year-old female resident of the city of Nalchik of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) was recruited by one of the extremist groupings to carry out sabotage and terror act in the territory of Dagestan.

"At the 19-year-old woman's place, the policemen found and seized extremist literature and a suicide note, addressed to her relatives," the "Interfax" quotes a representative of the Chechen police.

Ruslan Alkhanov, Chechen Minister of Internal Affairs, confirmed the fact of the woman's detention.

"In this case, recruiters have found the woman's vulnerability her frustrated personal life. The detainee's husband serves his sentence in a prison. This fact was used by the recruiters of the woman," Ruslan Alkhanov said.

The detainee herself denies her guilt and explains that she was going to Dagestan to enter one of the local madrassa for in-depth study of Islam.

In Dagestan, according to the woman, she was to meet and to be taken to an Islamic educational institution by a woman, with whom she was not personally acquainted. Besides, the woman stated that no one of her relatives knew about her trip, including her mother, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
