Relatives and lawyer are unaware of whereabouts of Spartak Djambulatov, detained in Dagestan

Spartak Djambulatov, a 24-year-old resident of the village of Bammayurt of the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan was unlawfully searched and arrested. This was claimed by his mother. According to lawyer Sapiyat Magomedova, till present, the whereabouts of the detainee is unknown.

"Today, at 06:00 a.m., in the village of Bammatyurt, law enforcement agents came with a search warrant and took away my son," the mother of the detained Spartak Djambulatov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the detainee's mother, they were planted a package, and she was not aware of its content. "During the search, no witnesses were invited, who would see actions of the police officers," the woman said.

According to the lawyer Sapiyat Magomedova, who entered took the case at the request of the detainee's parents, his whereabouts is still unknown. "We were told at the Khasavyurt ROVD (District Interior Division), which supervises the village of Bammayurt village in accordance with geographical division, that Spartak Djambulatov was not brought to their place. Officials from the temporary detention facility told us the same. At present, we appeal to the District Prosecutor's Office, asking for assistance to reveal the detainee's whereabouts," Sapiyat Magomedova said.

Today, officers from the unit on duty of the Khasavyurt ROVD told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Spartak Djambulatov was not brought to their place.
