In Moscow, victims of terror act on Dubrovka demand opening a new criminal case

Victims of the terror act, committed in the theatre on Dubrovka, accuse officials, who were responsible for organization of first aid to victims, of negligence. Today, they sent a complaint to Alexander Bastrykin, Chief of the Investigatory Committee, demanding to institute a new criminal case.

According to Igor Trunov, the lawyer of the victims, a new complaint was addressed to the name of Alexander Bastrykin in connection with the decision of the European Court. "The complaint was filed against those persons, whose fault caused death of 25 persons. Those persons were not killed by terrorists, but because of fault of officials at organizing medical care and poor transportation," the "Russian News Service" quotes Igor Trunov as saying.

"I demand to institute a criminal case on the facts of concealing information about the circumstances that endanger lives or health states of people, causing death by negligence, infliction of serious or average bodily harm by negligence, negligence of officials, who were responsible for organization of first aid to the victims, for their transportation to hospitals, and for the general coordination of the actions to rescue people," states the complaint, filed by the victims in the name of Alexander Bastrykin, the "RAPSI" (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information) reports.
