Dagestan: unidentified criminals kill two mosque parishioners, eyewitnesses assert

In the Dagestani village of Leninkent, after the Friday prayers, masked gunmen killed two parishioners, a believer who preferred to remain anonymous, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"The two parishioners took their car, when a white Priora with tinted windows and no license plates approached them at a high speed. Unidentified armed men in masks jumped out of it and opened fire at the believers' car; then, they drove away at high speed in the direction of Makhachkala. Dozens were eyewitnesses," he said.

According to his story, the name of one of the casualties is already know - Abdurakhman from Leninkent. The source has added that the crime scene was cordoned off by policemen, who say nothing to locals.

The details of the crime are investigated; so far, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan is inaccessible for comments.
