Volgograd hosts picket in defence of citizens' right to possess arms
In Volgograd, Mikhail Goldreyer, the coordinator of the interregional public organization "Right to Arms", held in the Alley of Heroes a single picket in defence of the right of citizens to own firearms, the of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
Mikhail Goldreyer stood with a poster reading: "Right to Arms."
"We advocate that mentally sane, law-abiding people can acquire civil combat pistols to protect themselves, and we speak not of a traumatic weapon," Mikhail Goldreyer explained his position to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to Mikhail Goldreyer, the picket has been held within the all-Russian action, which, according to the picketer, runs from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.
In their resolution, participants of the all-Russian series of rallies and pickets in support of civil defence asked the state to respect their constitutional right to life.
