Administration of Stavropol bans picket for territory's leaving the NCFD
The administration of Stavropol has refused to coordinate an information picket applied for in the city centre by the unregistered nationalistic party "Novaya Sila" (New Force) for March 1 in the square near the central bus station.
Party activists had planned to use the picket for collecting signatures for return of the Stavropol Territory from the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) to the Southern Federal District (SFD) and for introduction of a temporary special migration regime in the territory.
On February 26, the "Novaya Sila" launched a website named "NeKavkaz", where signatures are collected in support of the territory's quitting the NCFD. So far, the idea has been supported by 592 persons.
