Sochi residents report collapse of attachment of trade gallery
An extension to the trade gallery has collapsed in central Sochi. The construction turned into garbage covering the whole territory, which had earlier been a greenery zone and a park, townspeople assert.
"On February 27, I was passing by and saw a collapse of concrete structures built by unidentified persons. The noise was enormous; there was a lot of dust; and I had an impression that something terrible had happened. And what if occasional passers by had suffered? I was walking along the fence; and when I heard the noise of falling structures, I jumped off the fence. This saved me, as the fence went inclined," Oleg Molchanov, an eyewitness of the accident, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Now, the workers of the development company are clearing the ruins of the collapsed extension, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent report from the venue.
