After meeting Ivanishvili, Saakashvili states his readiness to continue dialogue

After the today's meeting with Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili has stated his intention to go on with the dialogue in the country and promised not to dissolve the parliament and the government. By the outcomes of the meeting, both leaders have held separate briefings, where they told about their vision as to solving the political crisis in the country.

Bidzina Ivanishvili said that, in spite of existing disagreements, the dialogue will continue "to avoid illegal actions and destabilization". He also noted that "he again heard unclear President's appeals to free the media, preserve the freedom of the judiciary and 'protect' the population from mass persecutions."

Mikhail Saakashvili has treated his meeting with Bidzina Ivanishvili as "interesting" and called to continue the dialogue. "Although we have fundamental differences, we should openly speak about them at face-to-face meetings, not through the Facebook." The President has noted that the meeting brought no particular results.
