Sochi: residents of Tunnelnaya Street demand to close erotic massage parlour

On March 8, about 50 residents of Tunnelnaya Street in Sochi held a gathering with a demand to close the places of entertainment, working in close proximity to residential houses.

At No. 2 Tunnelnaya Street, a four-storey building houses a sauna, an erotic massage parlour, a restaurant named "Pyanaya Ulitka" (Drunk Snail), a hotel and a shop that sells alcoholic beverages. This gives the neighbourhood a fair concern, said the crowd of locals at the gathering.

All the entertainments are at work since 2009. All the repeated complaints of tenants, including to the administration of the city and the police brought no fruit.

"We don't know where else to go," Valentina Shpalova, the chair of the house committee of No. 10 in Tunnelnaya Street, an apartment block, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, adding that a real rookery works near apartment buildings.

As a result of the rally on March 8, residents wrote and sent a statement to the head of the city with a demand to put their street into order.

Anatoly Koldomasov, the precinct policeman told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he has no information about the rookery.
