Three out of four figurants in the murder case of Fral Shebzukhov, an advisor of the former head of Karachay-Cherkessia, convicted by the Supreme Court of the republic to various terms of imprisonment, have appealed against their verdict.

The case on Shebzukhov's murder was considered on February 27 in relation to the following residents of Cherkessk - Magomed Djubuev, who was sentenced to 19 years in prison, Alik Totorkulov – to 14.5 years, Nazim Kusheterov – to 14 years and Sultan Djankezov – to 15 years of imprisonment.

As reported by the RIA "Novosti" with reference to the press-secretary of the court Alibek Botashev, the appeals against the verdict of the Supreme Court were submitted by the advocates of Djankezov and Totorkulov, and by the defendant Kusheterov.

According to Botashev, it is not known yet whether Djankezov's advocate, the victim's relatives and the state prosecution will challenge the verdict; but they have still some time to do it, the RAPSI (Russian Agency for Legal and Judicial Information) reports.

At present, the case of two other possible figurants in Shebzukhov's murder – Tulparov and Kopsergenov, who have been put on the international wanted list, – has been allocated into a separate proceeding.
