Doctors report improved health of KBR resident who jumped from window of MIA building

As reported by relatives and the doctor on duty of the Republic's Clinical Hospital (RCH) in Nalchik, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), the health condition of Mukhamed Khabilov, who jumped on February 25 from a third floor window of the MIA building.

Now, Mukhamed feels better, said his wife Olesya Shibzukhova. Besides, the computer tomography has shown that there is no need of a repeated surgery.

"Doctors are doing everything to put my husband on his feet as quickly as possible. But, in any case, he'll stay in bed for at least two months. Only then, according to his doctor, he'll start walking little by little," the wife told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The doctor on duty of the RCH has confirmed that Mukhamed Khabilov's condition is better.

The patient asserts that prior to his hospitalization, he was presented no charges at the MIA; therefore, he is not under guard; besides, law enforcers stopped visiting him there.

Khabilov advocates Eva Chanieva and Rustam Matsev intend to prove that their client was forced to jump from the window of the third floor because of a real threat of torture.
