Armenia's CC refuses to nullify outcomes of presidential election

The Constitutional Court of Armenia has dismissed the claims lodged by ex-presidential candidates Raffi Ovannisyan and Andreas Gukasyan on non-recognition of the results of the presidential election in Armenia.

The CC has upheld the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia of February 25 that Serzh Sargsyan had been elected to the post of the President. The CC's decision is final and will take effect from the date of publication, says the ruling.

The full text of the decision of the Constitutional Court of Armenia is to be published on March 17.
