Witnesses interrogated at the trial on the case of Budanov’s murder

Today trial on the case of colonel Yuri Budanov’s murder was continued in Moscow city court. During the session one of the witnesses declared that he knew the defendant under the name of Magomed Suleimanov.

“He rented my flat in Moscow. When concluding the agreement of rent of the premises he produced a passport of Magomed Suleimanov (the investigators at first stated that native of Chechnya Magomed Suleimanov was suspected of Budanov’s murder. After work on establishing the suspect’s identity he started appearing as Yusup Temerkhanov, not Magomed Suleimanov. – Note by the “Caucasian Knot”), the witness said.

Witness Natalia Senikova was also interrogated. According to her, she was acquainted with the defendant since 2000 and knew him as Arthur.

It should be reminded that according to the investigation’s version, Temerkhanov killed Budanov out of revenge for his father killed by servicemen of military unit No 73881. However, Budanov served in military unit No 13206 and the defendant did not even know him, Temerkhanov’s attorneys state.
