"Russian Jogging" in Krasnodar gathered about 100 participants
On March 16, the central Krasnodar hosted an action called "Russian Jogging" against holding the rock festival "Cubana" on the Black Sea coast. The action was attended by about a hundred Russian nationalists, members of the Kuban Cossacks Army and Cossack detachments, as well as activists of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF).
The jogging session was a sign of protest against the rock festival "Cubana", which was treated by activists as "a concentration camp for Russian youth", condemning the moral atmosphere at the musical event. The participants gathered about 150 signatures to the letter addressed to Governor Alexander Tkachov asking to ban the "Cubana".
After a short warm-up, they made up a column of four and ran for a few blocks down the main street of Krasnodar – Krasnaya Street, where the motor traffic is blocked on weekends.
During the race the participants chanted "A Russian means a non-drinker", "Krasnodar is a nondrinking city", "Anapa is a nondrinking city" and other slogans.
