Soldier killed in conflict zone in Nagorno-Karabakh
Volodya Avakyan, a regular serviceman, has died of the wound received in the conflict zone, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh reports.
According to the MoD, the soldier of the defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh was wounded on March 20 at one of the military posts on the troops contact line, the "Lragir.am" reports.
"An inquiry is underway to clarify the details of the incident," the "News-Armenia" quotes the press service of the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", the death of Avakyan is already at least the fifth since the beginning of 2013 in the conflict zone in Karabakh. The last monitoring by the OSCE conducted on March 14 revealed no violations of ceasefire.
