Man with knife tried to enter the building of Armenian Parliament

Vrezh Galstyan, 25, a resident of the city of Masis, armed with a knife, tried to get into the National Assembly of Armenia. According to the General Public Prosecutor's Office, he had two previous convictions and was registered as a patient with a psychiatric disorder.

The securities of the National Assembly of Armenia wounded the man. At the moment, Galstyan is a patient at the University Hospital No. 1 with a gunshot wound of moderate gravity in the thigh area, the "ArmNews" TV Channel reports.

"The bone and the artery were not affected; no surgery is required," said the chief physician and added that such patients are usually discharged in a day or three, the "News-Armenia" reports.
