Part of observers over election of Anapa Mayor could not leave Taganrog

The Taganrog observers over the election of Anapa Mayor were forced to return home after their buses were stopped by GIBDD (traffic police) inspectors, who also took away the number plates from the buses.

After the observers failed to leave Taganrog in this bus, they took the reserve one and left in the direction of Rostov-on-Don aiming to pick up the second part of the group and go together to Anapa.

"After we took off in the reserve bus, we were stopped again at the GIBDD post outside the city. Policemen forbade anyone to go out of the bus and announced inspection of documents. While checking our documents, the twisted with an iron bar the number plates off the bus. As a result, all of us – 19 persons – had to return to Taganrog, not even reaching Rostov-on-Don," Ivan Sedush, an activist from Taganrog told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
