A district police officer’s father in Derbent reports beating his son up by Chief of the Department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs

Chief of the Department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Russian Federation in Derbent Abdulahad Magomedov beat up district police officer Isabek Ramazanov, the officer’s father Tagir Ramazanov reported.

According to Tagir Ramazanov, the incident took place in the evening of December, 7, in the territory of municipal Department of Interior Affairs. After the incident in the Department Isabek Ramazanov was hospitalized with brain concussion and abdominal injury, the officer’s father informed.

After the incident Tagir Ramazanov appealed to standby unit of Derbent municipal Department of Interior Affairs. Besides, on December, 7, he sent a telegram of complaint to the Minister of Interior Affairs and Head of Committee of Inquiry of Russia. He also appealed to Investigative Department in Derbent and local Public Prosecutor’s office. They started inspection on the appeal but the results are unknown.

Abdulahad Magomedov refuted the information of beating saying that “there was nothing of the kind”.
