"Yabloko" claims ballot throw-in at 10 out of 68 polling stations at election of Anapa Mayor

Sergey Mitrokhin, the leader of the "Yabloko" Party, has demanded from the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia Vladimir Churov to cancel the results of the election of the Mayor of Anapa. According to observers of the "Yabloko", there were ballot throw-in cases during the voting in at least ten out of total of 68 polling stations.

March 24 was the voting day at election of the Mayor of the city of Anapa. According to preliminary data of the Territorial Election Commission (TEC), the candidate of the party "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Sergey Sergeyev won the mayoral election in Anapa by gaining 83.98% of the votes.

As stated on the website of the "Yabloko", even the number of the cases of ballot throw-in recorded by observers does not allow establishing the true will of the electorate. The information on all the facts was sent to the CEC of Russia.

"The outcomes have been totally rigged. Proofs are more than enough, including those obtained by me personally," Sergey Mitrokhin wrote in his "Twitter".

According to the TEC, no serious election violations have been recorded, the ITAR-TASS reports.
