Krasnodar Territorial Court requests case of journalist Kravchenko

Today, Judge Alexei Kupriyanov from the Krasnodar Territorial Court has requested the criminal case from the magistrate court of Sochi opened against the journalist Svetlana Kravchenko by the guard Vladimir Krivosheev who complained that he was beaten by her.

Krivosheev had demanded to make Svetlana Kravchenko liable under the article of "beating". On December 4, 2012, the court found Kravchenko guilty of assaulting Krivosheev and fined her by 10,000 roubles. Ms Kravchenko disagreed with the verdict and filed an appeal.

On March 1, 2013, the verdict was overturned by the Federal Judge Sergey Martynenko and sent for a new trial at the preparation stage to Magistrate Judge Victoria Isaeva to the precinct No. 101.

The criminal case was requested by Territorial Judge Alexei Kupriyanov under the supervisory complaint of Vladimir Krivosheev against the ruling of Judge Martynenko. Vladimir Krivosheev has stated that he had filed an appeal against the above ruling of Judge Martynenko on March 8.

The case was transferred to the Tsentralny District Court of Sochi and is now prepared for sending to the Territorial Court by the specialist Irina Grischenko, a source from the precinct No. 101 of Sochi told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
