Dagestani Govt increased teachers' salaries
Arthur Dalgatov, Acting Minister of Education of Dagestan, has signed an order to increase the pay of teachers and employees of the primary and secondary vocational education.
The resolution of the Government covers not only school teachers, but also employees of primary and secondary educational institutions, additional education and children preschool establishments, as Magomed Amirodinov, the head of the Trade Union of National Education and Science of Dagestan, has explained to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"It is estimated that the average teacher's salary in Dagestan with account of compensations and incentive payments will make about 14,800 roubles. This is very good news, but our teachers still remain poorest teachers in Russia," said the trade unionist.
The exact figures for salary increases will be announced by the trade union after start of payment and monitoring of all the districts of Dagestan.
