Two servicemen wounded by explosion in Ingushetia brought to Moscow

A special aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has brought to Moscow for treatment two OMON (riot police) fighters, wounded in a mine explosion in Ingushetia, said Makka Gadieva, a representative of Ministry of Public Health of Ingushetia.

According to the authorities, the explosion had wounded the acting deputy of the OMON commander in Ingushetia, who died in hospital in Khankala.

The list of those wounded also includes an OMON senior instructor and an inspector for special missions of the MIA for ensuring safety in the areas adjacent to the borders of Ingushetia. They were taken to the Sunzha Central District Hospital.

"A special MIA aircraft has brought doctors from 'Centrospas' (State Central Aero-Mobile Rescue Detachment of the MfE of Russia) to the Ingush Airport 'Magas'. After a doctors' concilium, a decision was made to transport the victims. Today in the morning the OMON fighters were brought to Moscow and placed into the Chief Clinical Hospital of the MIA," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Ms Gadieva as saying.
