Seminar on adaptation of immigrants from Syria held in Nalchik
Nalchik has hosted a training seminar for the compatriots from Syria living in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR). The event was organized to help the repatriates to get adapted to the life in the republic.
As explained by Larissa Gyzieva, Deputy Chair of the Committee on Employment, the target audience included those returnees who are citizens of Russia – there are about a hundred of them.
The audience was clarified on the rules of the Russian legislation concerning their rights.
The compatriots were informed that support of large families will be provided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development of the KBR. Additional payments and benefits are ensured for those who rear three or more children. Elderly citizens will be accepted for rest and treatment by the social and rehabilitation centres of the republic; and children from 7 to 14 years – by the children's rehabilitation centre.
Currently, the republic's schools teach 108 children of immigrants from Syria. 101 of them go to school in Nalchik.
