Ruslan Kutaev: two men kidnapped in Chechnya

Two men, Mikail Dautov and Imam Arkhimirzoev, were kidnapped by unknown people in the settlement of Valerik, Achkhoy-Martan district of Chechnya, after the evening prayer on December, 16, Ruslan Kutaev, President of Assembly of Peoples of the Caucasus and Head of international Committee for problems of Northern Caucasus, reported. Law enforcement officers are sure that there is no question of kidnapping.

Mikail Dautov aged 24 and Imam Arkhimirzoev aged 16, pupil of the 10th class of local school, were seized in the street after the evening prayer and carried away in an unknown direction in a “Lada-Priora” car, Ruslan Kutaev told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.

“The kidnapped young men’s parents appealed to the police. A police brigade arrived from Achkhoy-Martan regional center and registered the fact of kidnapping. Today they submitted a statement to Public Prosecutor’s office”, he said.

Local young people “recognized one of the members of the top brass, native of Valerik now residing in the settlement of Katayama, Grozny”, among the adductors”, father of one of the kidnapped men Ahmed Arkhimirzoev states.

The duty officer of Achkhoy-Martan Department of Interior Affairs denied this information as well as the statement of kidnapping.
