An SMS action in support of Syrian Circassians started in Adygea
On December, 15, mass media of Adygea reported the start of a charitable SMS action in support of Syrian Circassians who came to Adygeya from the war-torn Syria. Anyone could send a message with the text "adiga" to the short number 3116 specifying the sum of money one wished to donate in support of compatriots, republican Foundation of aid to repatriates reported.
Besides the Foundation of aid to repatriates, Committee for the Affairs of nationalities, interaction with compatriots and mass media was also an organizer of the SMS action in support of Syrian Circassians. The service is available for “Megaphone”, “Beeline” and MTS users which allows any subscriber of these companies in the territory of the Russian Federation take part in the charitable action.
“The sum of donation can vary from 10 rubles to 15 thousand, accountant of the Foundation said to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent. – For example, typing the text "adiga 10" you transfer 10 rubles to the bank. It deducts a small commission: 50 kopecks per 10 rubles. The remaining sum is transferred to the account of the Foundation of aid to repatriates of the Republic of Adygea”.
