Attorneys of the defendant on the case of Budanov’s murder ask to try him on the polygraph detector
Defendant Yusup Temerkhanov’s defense on the case of colonel Budanov’s murder in Moscow city court entered a motion to submit him to examination on the polygraph detector, the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent reports.
Besides, attorney Murad Musaev asked the court not to disclose personal data of the expert who would carry out psychophysiological research to avoid anyone’s pressure on him.
Public Prosecutor Maria Semenenko arrived at a conclusion that there was no point in interrogating the defendant in the investigative isolation ward because he was going to evidence only in the courtroom, in the presence of the jury, and explain his position himself.
Judge Andrey Korotkov dismissed the motion of the defense to try the defendant on the polygraph detector for the jury would estimate only the evidence given in the courtroom, not on the polygraph in the investigative isolation ward.
