Eighty persons take part in action "Coloured Holes" in Volgograd

About 80 people in 40 cars took part in the action "Coloured Holes" in Volgograd and marked with paint the dangerous holes in pavement of city streets.

The Volgograd blogger Alexei Ulyanov, the leader of the NGO "Let's Do it Together", known in the region for his struggle "for good road", was the organizer of the action.

"The essence of the action - marking emergency wells to urge the authorities to pay attention to the condition of the road," said Alexei Ulyanov.

The participants of the event wrote on the roads running from Moscow: "City without roads". According to the blogger, this inscription is "really reflecting the situation in this part of the city infrastructure."

In addition to highly resistant enamel, they covered the inscription with some glass fluorescent particles – that the words could be visible in the headlights. Activists plan to continue marking the Volgograd road holes: during the next action, each hole will be marked with the name of a bureaucrat of the regional or city administration.
