Eyewitness of Yuri Budanov's murder asserts at trial that he saw Mitsubishi Lancer in the scene
Today, the Moscow City Court (MCC) has continued the trial of the murder of former Colonel Yuri Budanov. Alexander Gaisin, an eyewitness of the crime, said during evidencing that he saw a silver Mitsubishi Lancer car at the scene, which was used, according to investigators, by the killer of Yuri Budanov to escape from the place.
"On the day of Budanov's murder I was at work; our company is located in the yard. I went out to have smoke and heard pops at about midday; then, people were running; and I saw a light-coloured Mitsubishi Lancer, which was driving away; and a man was lying in the middle of the yard. Then, it turned out that it was Budanov; and he was killed," said Gaisin.
According to his story, another witness in the case Alexander Evtukhov was next to him at the moment of the crime.
